Materials and methods: A quasi-experimental pre-post study was designed to compare the means of the performance scores before and after the training, using the Student's t test for related samples. Results: 72 participants were included. The mean of the first evaluation was 18.67, before the training. In the second evaluation, after the training, a mean of 27.24 was obtained (p<0.001). Conclusion: The findings suggest that training in Laboratory Medicine professionals, given for the purposes of evidence-based education, generates a positive impact for the benefit of their skills, where final benefit of which will be reflected in the patients
